8 Things about ME!

1. I love See's Candy!! Someone gave me a $50.00 gift certificate for See's and I'm afraid I'll eat the whole $50.00 at once!
2. All 4 of my children have served missions
3. I love to eat out, any place it doesn't matter.
4. I lost 28 pounds last year, YEAH!!
5. I'm afraid of fires, even fires in the fire place. I was in a fort that my brother built when we were kids and it caught on fire while I was in it. To this day I'm afraid of burning.
6. I love to garden. When I have the time I love to go out every morning and talk to my flowers and make sure they are all happy, fed and pretty.
7. I love to quilt. Alynda Kusch is my inspiration!! (I'm not nearly as good as her, but I would like to be)
8. I like to make creative things on the computer. Different flyers or handouts for Young Women's.

Mrs. Beesley

One of my preschool children gave this doll to me for a graduation present. It is an original Buffy doll from the TV show "Family Affair" she is holding her Mrs. Beesley doll. What a treasure. I have always wanted a "Mrs. Beesley" doll. Thanks Erin!!

The End of Preschool

This was my last year teaching Preschool. I have been teaching for 19 years and loved it!! But it just feels right to start a new adventure in my life now. I'm not sure what it is going to be...but hopefully it will be something to help me grow in new ways. Can't wait to find out what it will be.

A visit to the Hospital

Last night we took the Young Women to Good Samaritan Hospital to visit the Pediatric Ward. There were only 7 kids there and most of them were teenageres. The girls teamed up in 2's and joined with a leader went in and visited 2 rooms each. Everyone had a good experience!! They were a little nervous at first but over it pretty quick. Everyone left feeling good about the activity!!

Visit from Steve and Beckie

Dan and I went over to Mom and Dad's yesterday and had a great visit with Steve and Beckie. They were her for a few days from Utah. We had a nice visit and then Kathy and Jim came over and we all had lunch together. It was a fun day!!

I love Spring!

I love spring when my roses start to bloom and I get to plant my flower boxes! That's what I did today!! I love flowers and love to look out my kitchen window and see them. Hurray it's spring!!!

My new kitchen

In September, while we were in Idaho blessing our darling little grandson, the pipe to our ice maker broke and flooded the whole down stairs of our house. We walked in to 2 inches of water every where. So we got all new floors, Living Room/Dinning Room, Family Room and Kitchen. We decided if we were getting a new floor in the kitchen it only made sense to redo the whole kitchen. So we got all new appliances, new granite counters, new railing into the family room, new lighting. It is beautiful and I love it!! (The pictures don't do it justice.)

Let's get started!

Okay, I keep thinking I have to start out with something wonderful and so I keep putting this off. But let's face it I don't have anything wonderful to say so let's just get started....
